Learning a new skill

Introduction:
Hello fellow readers, My name is Jonathon and for the past few weeks me and my class has been learning a new skill, we were doing how to juggle. Juggling was really hard to get used to
but I got used to it and was managed to learn how to juggle 3 balls.

New Skill:
But that has passed and my class are going to be learning a new skill, I grouped up with Leatham so we can both help each other overcome these challenges. Our skill we are going to be learning is to do front flips, and if we finish that we will try to do a back flip.

Other Options:
Our other options we have if we don't make progress are Line dancing, Tai Chi (Chinese Traditional Martial Art) and Uni cycling.

My feelings about this new skill

I'm feeling a bit nervous about this I haven't really thought about doing flips, I could remember 1 time when I was a year 6 obsessed about flips, I would always watch clips on how to do a flips. So yeah it's going to be interesting. Right now I can do a flip just can't land it so just need to used to landing. I feel Leatham can overcome this challenge (My Buddy) I think that because he is always happy to learn new things and he's quite good at it he got used to juggling in like 3 weeks, like honestly what the heck? But yeah I think Leatham is going to be helping me a lot for this new skill.

Exercise song


WALT: We are making a song with new words such as Aerobic and Cardiovascular, just words we won't usually write in a normal writing. My song I picked is Twinkle Twinkle, The song may be out of tune. In other words we are using new vocabulary in our writing

Benefits of physical activity

The Benefits of Physical Activity


Have you ever wandered the benefits of physical activity, or why it’s good to go for a run daily? Maybe you want a good health, or maybe you just want to look better, or maybe you don’t want to run or get your heart pumping. Firstly, you might think running is a waste of time but have you really thought about it? Well stay tuned in cause i’ll give you a few tips and why we really need to exercise.

Firstly, exercise improves mood and sleep, for example say you have a game today you might feel exhausted. Think back to what you did the day before. If you are like me you either played Fortnite till 2 in the morning, or you just couldn’t sleep cause you still got a lot of energy. Have you ever heard of the term “The little things matter?” those little things such as going to bed on time, eating the right food and staying away from your PS4. You may be thinking why should I listen to this guy…. Well you should listen because I was that guy who always played till midnight, sure I pushed myself not to but then when I started to sleep on time, I could feel my body is ready, and I have a lot of oxygen. Fun fact is it can also reduce stress and anxiety. Problems in these areas frequently cause or contribute to cognitive impairment.

Secondly being physically active reduces your odds of developing heart disease. The benefits of physical exercise, especially aerobic exercise, have positive effects on brain function on multiple fronts, ranging from the molecular to behavioral level.

Lastly, exercise affects the brain on multiple fronts. It increases heart rate, which pumps more oxygen to the brain. It also aids the bodily release of a plethora of hormones, all of which participate in aiding and providing a nourishing environment for the growth of brain cells.

Well there it is a few tips and answers to your questions, but If you don’t like doing the dirty work such as running and weightlifting doing household chores can count as well, such as raking the leaves, taking out the rubbish or anything else that will get your heart pumping.
